Safety Rules
Dahlonega Gymnastics has the following safety rules in place to ensure a great learning environment.
1. Students and parents should wait in our waiting area until class is called to the gym area.
2. No one may be on equipment without a staff members consent.
3. Do not do gymnastics or run in the lobby or waiting areas. Please keep an eye on young children
4. Make sure you are dressed for gymnastics class. Please do not wear skirts, jeans, buttons, zippers, snaps, socks, or jewelry. If your hair is past your chin, it must be pulled back.
COVID-19 Policy Update
By choosing to continue my training at Dahlonega Gymnastics, I hereby enter into this waiver for myself, my heirs, executors, assigns, and personal representatives. I do so knowingly and voluntarily. I hereby waive any and all rights, claims, or causes of action arising from any contraction or infection of the COVID-19 virus as a result of my continued training at Dahlonega Gymnastics, along with its owners, members, agents, and representatives. I understand there are risk and I assume all known dangers and risk associated with my continued training at Dahlonega Gymnastics. I fully confirm that I have not tested positive for COVID-19 nor do I have any symptoms currently related to COVID-19. I am also truthfully stating that I have not traveled outside the United States in the last 4 weeks, nor have had any contact with anyone who may have any symptoms concurrent with COVID-19, including but not limited to fever, cough, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, shortness of breath, etc
Payment Options
Tuition is based on an average of 4 classes per month. Some months may have 3 or 5 lessons. Tuition does not increase or decrease because of the number of lessons each month. We do not pro-rate for vacation, illness or injury.
A credit or debit card on file is required to register for classes. Tuition payments are charged the 1st day of each month via the card on file. If you wish to make a payment by cash or check, this payment is due BEFORE the 1st of the month. If tuition is delinquent by the 15th of the month the student will be dropped from the roll and we will give the space to the next student on the waiting list. All returned checks will carry a fee of $20.00. Once we have taken a bad check, all tuition must be paid from then on by cash or debit/credit card. Students registered for summer camp pay the camp fees at the time of enrollment. We do not offer refunds for summer camp after May1st. In the event your account becomes past due and is referred to an outside collection agency or attorney, you will be responsible for the collection costs at the rate of 33% of the balance due, along with reasonable attorney fees and court costs incurred by this office.
Withdrawal Policy
In order to withdraw from the program, you must provide written notice to our office (either via email to DahlonegaGymnastics@gmail.com or in hard copy delivered to 190 Chestatee Industrial Drive, Dahlonega, GA 30533) no later than the 15th day of the last month of your participation. Oral notice of withdrawal to our office is not sufficient.
Example 1: If you submit your written withdrawal to us on the 14th of January, you will be withdrawn from the program at the end of January, and will be assessed no further fees beyond January tuition.
Example 2: If you submit your written withdrawal to our office on the 30th of January, you will be assessed the program tuition fee for the full month of February.
By submitting this registration you agree that your card on file will be assessed any balance owed per these terms.
Abandonment of Program
If you withdraw or if you abandon the program without notice, you agree that we may immediately fill your place in the class with a registrant from the waiting list. If you wish to re-enroll you may register as a new student, but you agree that Dahlonega Gymnastics shall have discretion on whether to accept you to the student list. You agree that we may consider you to have withdrawn if your tuition is unpaid and have missed more than one class without notice. We will assess fees as outlined above per our Withdrawal Policy.
Waiver and Medical Release
I fully understand that Dahlonega Gymnastics staff members are not physicians or medical practitioners of any kind. With the above in mind I hereby release Dahlonega Gymnastics staff to render first aid to my child or children in the event of any injury or illness, and if deemed necessary by Dahlonega Gymnastics to seek medical help, including transportation by a Dahlonega Gymnastics staff member or its representatives, whether paid or volunteer, to any health care facility or hospital, or the calling of an ambulance for said child should Dahlonega Gymnastics staff deem this to be necessary.
We, the staff of Dahlonega Gymnastics recognize our obligation to make our students and their parents aware of the risks and hazards associated with the sport of gymnastics. Students may suffer injuries, possibly minor, serious, or catastrophic in nature. Gymnastics can be dangerous and lead to injury. Parents should make their children aware of the possibility of injury and encourage their children to follow all the safety rules and the coaches instruction. Dahlonega Gymnastics, its coaches and other staff members, will not accept responsibility for injuries sustained by any student during the course of gymnastics instruction, or open workouts or in the case of any exhibition, competition, or clinic in which he or she may participate while traveling to or from the event.
With the above in mind, and being fully aware of the risks and possibility of injury, I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) to my family members, and further I release and discharge DG for injury, loss, or damage arising out of my or my family's use of or presence upon the premises of DG. I, my executors, or other representatives, waive and release all rights and claims for damages that my child or I may have against Dahlonega Gymnastics and/or its representatives whether paid or volunteer. I also affirm that I now have and will continue to provide proper hospitalization, health, and accident insurance coverage, which I consider adequate for both my child's protection and my own protection. I also understand that it is the parents responsibility to warn the child about the dangers of gymnastics and injury. The parent should warn the child according to what the parents feel is appropriate. Dahlonega Gymnastics will only warn the child through Safety Messages and our teaching style and progression.
DG complies with the procedures and safeguards prescribed by the USA Gymnastics "Safe Sport Policy," which is the foundation for rules, policies and responsibilities for athlete safety and well-being and the prevention of abuse. Subject to this compliance, I release DG from liability for actions outside the scope of employment with DG. I understand that if I have any concerns whatsoever about any staff, paid or volunteer, that I must report my concern immediately to DG management, so that DG management may assess and respond swiftly and appropriately.
Media Release
I authorize Dahlonega Gymnastics to use photos or videos of my child or the child for whom I have legal guardianship of for any promotional materials. Such likenesses not be sold to other parties. Promotional materials bearing these likenesses may be distributed for free to the public and posted on the Dahlonega Gymnastics website or social media. Identifying information will not be used in any promotional material or placed on the website. You may revoke this permission at anytime by submitting a letter in writing to dahlonegagymnastics@gmail.com.

I understand that by accepting these terms this will serve as my electronic signature. I agree to abide by all policies and rules set forth by Dahlonega Gymnastics. I understand that our enrollment can be revoked at any time for non-payment of fees or non-compliance of gym rules and or policies.
