Automatic Tuition Policy
Annual Registration & Monthly Tuition Fees will be automatically processed via credit card payment. Cards will be processed on the first of each month for the remainder of the studio year. (July payment will be processed after sign-up). Students must have a card on file that will be used for this tuition payment prior to being enrolled in a class. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you choose to drop a class you MUST fill out a drop form in the studio office by the 25th of the previous month. For example, if you are dropping a class in September then your drop form must be turned in by August 25th in order to avoid being charged that class fee for September. All other fees will still be paid cash or check only. Annual Registration Fee and Monthly tuition is the only fee that will be paid via credit card.
Drop Policy
Since tuition fees are charged on a month-to-month basis you may drop out of a class at any time. If you choose to drop a class you MUST fill out a drop form in the studio office by the 25th of the previous month. (Emails or texts do not fulfil this requirement.) For example, if you are dropping a class in September then your drop form must be completed in the office by August 25th in order to avoid being charged that class fee for September .If you have paid a month's fee and drop during the beginning or middle of the month, you will not receive a refund. You may however, finish the rest of the month and drop at the end of that particular month. If you drop classes in the middle of the month you will be billed at your normal monthly rate for the entire month.
Payment Policies
1.) Registration Fees: Registration fees are $20 per student, per year and are non-refundable. This fee is payable upon registration with the first month of tuition.
2.) Monthly Tuition Fees: Monthly Tuition will be processed on the 1st of the month. Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of the number of lessons taught within the month due to holidays or student absences. However, students are able to make-up classes that they miss. It is the responsibility of the parent/student to check with our office staff and schedule a make-up class. *If we are unable to provide in-person classes due to any circumstances that may arise because of COVID-19 we will offer our same schedule via ZOOM and monthly tuition will remain the same.
3.) Missed Tuition Payments/Returned Check Fees: Once your tuition has been past due for 60 days, your child will not be able to participate in class until your account is paid in-full. A $25 return check fee will be added onto all insufficient fund checks.
4.) Accepted Forms of Payment: Monthly Tuition will be paid via credit card through our automatic payment plan. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. All other fees will be paid via cash or check. Please make all checks out to Pep & Pizzazz.
5.) There must be a current credit card on file. Failure to have a card on file will result in a cancellation of enrollment.
Studio Procedures
1.) Class Procedures: Please have your child arrive five minutes prior to class start time dressed in proper attire and shoes. Proper technical warm-ups are done at the beginning of class and are vital to preventing injuries. It is also encouraged that students use the restroom before class begins.
2.) Attire: Students must adhere to their class dress code. Please see our website or request a copy of this from the studio.
3.) Observance: Parents are not permitted to stay in the studio during class. (Unless your child is in the Tiny Movers or Groovin' With Grownups class). This can be a distraction to the students who often do better in class when their parents are not in the room. Parents may wait in the waiting room if they choose but do not have to stay at the studio during their child's class. At least once a month parents will be invited into their child's class at the very end for a quick show.
4.) Before/After Class: Pep & Pizzazz is not a daycare or babysitting service. Students are not to arrive any earlier than 15 minutes prior to class and must be supervised by an adult until class time. Students are to wait in the waiting room until their instructor comes to get them for class. When one class ends, another starts; teachers are not responsible for watching students once class has dismissed. Parents should pick students up promptly. Please instruct your child to wait inside the waiting room for their rides. Students are not permitted to wait outside for rides. Parents should come into the studio to pick up their child as we do not allow our students to leave the building not accompanied by an adult.
5.) Absences: You may make-up missed classes that best fit the dancer's age and skill level. Missed cases are not refundable. In order to schedule a make up class, please contact Pep & Pizzazz. Tuition is still due to hold the spot for your child. There are no refunds if you drop a class in the middle of the month, choose other activities over dance class, or simply skip class. If your child has a contagious illness or is injured, please keep them out of class until they are recovered and can participate fully without risk of relapse or re-injury. In the case of serious injury, that would require students to miss a month or more of class, tuition might be waived (this is determined by Pep & Pizzazz staff on a case-by-case basis).
6.) Class Cancellation: Pep & Pizzazz has the right to combine classes, change times, provide substitute teachers or replacement teachers, and cancel or combine classes as they see fit.
7.) Adding Classes: If a student would like to add a class after they are already enrolled, they are welcome to do a free trial class. If you choose to add the class, any extra tuition associated with the class will be due upon the addition of the class to their schedule, but will be prorated if it is in the middle of the month. If you are re-enrolling in the same season, after having dropped all classes from the studio, there will be no re-enrollment fee. However, there is no guarantee that you will be placed into the same class or if a spot on our competitive teams will be available.
*These procedures have been amended to accommodate COVID-19 Regulations. We will adhere to the amended procedures until further notice. You will be emailed a copy of these procedures upon registration. By initialing you agree to follow all of the studio's COVID-19 safety procedures until further notice.
