2019/2020 Dancers Edge Refund Policy:
Effective March 11th, 2019
Due to high enrollment at Dancers Edge we require a portion of your dance package to be paid up front to secure your spots. This payment will come in the form of your first installment (if you have selected to do monthly installments) or in the form of a non-refundable portion of your paid in full tuition (10%). We know that you will love classes at Dancers Edge but in the rare case that a dance family decides to withdraw from our programming prior to the start of the season an email written notice must be provided. Before making any major decisions to withdraw your child from classes at Dancers Edge we ask that you consult with us first so we can make an effort to see if we can find a class that better suits your child. The following policies take effect upon receipt of the withdraw notice:
PRIOR TO THE SEASON: (written notice must be received a minimum of 72 hours prior to the first class of the season).
1. PAID IN FULL ACCOUNT: After written notice has been received by the office, a 90% refund will be issued on paid in full accounts (given that the above rules have been followed- i.e. 72 hours notice PRIOR to the first class). As mentioned above, 10% of tuition will be non-refundable in the case of a pre-season withdraw. The studio is holding spots and spends administrative hours processing each registration the 10% is held to cover those administrative costs.
2. MONTHLY INSTALLMENT: After written notice has been received by the office, the first installment will be held as non-refundable (as mentioned above). If the dance family has followed the rules as listed above (i.e. 72 hours notice PRIOR to the first class). We will remove the account from the system and no monthly installments will be charged to the account. Should a family provide less that 72 hours notice the system will automatically run the September 1st installment on your account listed on file.
DURING THE FIRST MONTH OF DANCE: (written notice must be received on or before September 30th, 2019).
1. PAID IN FULL ACCOUNT: After written notice has been received by the office, a partial refund of 75% will be issued on paid in full accounts (given that the above rules have been followed- i.e. written notice received on or before September 30th. After the dance season starts it becomes increasing hard to fill spots held by dancers since registration resulting in only a 75% refund during the first month of classes.
2. MONTHLY INSTALLMENT: After written notice has been received by the office, we will contact you to clarify the status of your account. After the dance season begins, the installment paid at the time of registration and the September 1st installment automatically become non-refundable. If your written notice has been provided 72 hours prior to the October 1st installment being posted to your account then we will be able to pull the October 1st installment charge before it is posted. If notice is not received prior to the posting period (72 hours) your account will also be charged the October 1st installment automatically and this become non-refundable. Once your written notice is received, we begin the process of archiving your account and a November 1st charge will not be posted to your account.
AFTER THE FIRST MONTH OF DANCE:
There are ZERO REFUNDS after September 30th. As a small business, we believe that the first month gives our families plenty of time to check out our studio and decide whether our dance family is the right fit for your family.
Dancers who are injured to the point of not being able to continue the season may be granted a partial refund on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Studio Owner.
I've read the above and agree.
