Payment Policies
Monthly tuition payments are due on the 2nd of each month. WE DO NOT SEND OUT BILLS. Tuition is calculated based on the school year, all holidays and scheduled school breaks have been taken into account. There will be no reduction, discount or credit for inclement weather days, teacher conference days, holiday breaks, acts of nature or absences and/or vacations. Three payment plans are available: Annually, Semi-Annually, and Monthly (10 or 12 month plans)
All students enrolled at FPC Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten are strongly encouraged to set up an automatic bank draft through Jackrabbit for monthly tuition payments. This is a free feature and Amanda Mallory, the director, is happy to assist you with the set up if you have any questions. If you choose to pay in cash, by hand written check, bill pay through your bank or by credit card, you will be required to have a credit card on file that will be charged on the 8th of each month if payment has not been received. A onetime $50 service charge will be required if you are not setting up the automatic bank daft option and storing a credit card on file to cover credit card fees.
Regardless of which plan is chosen, it must be understood that enrollment is a commitment for the entire academic year. At the time of enrollment, parents agree to pay tuition for the full school year. If FPMPK fills your child's spot, further payments toward your child's tuition will not be required.
Non-Sufficient Funds
A $50 fee is charged if a check is returned or a bank draft declined for any reason.
Registration/Re-enrollment Fee
There is a $125 registration fee for the first child and $75 for each additional child upon enrollment. This fee is due upon acceptance into FPMPK and will not be charged until we secure a spot for your child. Each winter, FPMPK invites families to re-enroll for the next year by filling out a re-enrollment from and paying the registration fee. This fee is due annually February 15th. Families who do not turn in re enrollment paperwork by the specified deadline will not have their space reserved for the following school year. This fee is non-refundable.
Illness
Children who are ill should not be sent to school. If your child should become ill while at school, you will be notified according to the information on the Emergency Form. The following guidelines should be considered in determining if your child should be kept at home:
Your child now has a fever or has had a fever within the past 24 hours
Your child has a constant cough, wheezing, colored nasal discharge, pink or discharge eyes, vomiting, or diarrhea
Your child has strep throat or scarlet fever
Your child has ringworm or impetigo
Your child has the flu
Your child has chicken pox
Your child has lice or mites
Immunization Policy
First Presbyterian Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten's current immunization policy is to follow the health department guidelines for public schools. This policy will be reviewed annually by the Board. All children are required to have on file the Georgia Immunization Certificate (Form 3231) prior to starting school. In addition, parents are responsible for making sure that they remain current and are not allowed to expire. As your child's shot record is updated, please provide us with a copy of the updated form 3231.
In accordance with Georgia state law, we will accept a religious exemption. Any child enrolled in FPMPK with a religious exemption needs to be aware that in the event of an outbreak of a disease for which your child is not immunized, he or she will be required by the health department to be removed from our school for 21 days or longer. During that time, tuition obligations will not be abated.
