Visitors Week will be held the weeks of December 2- December 13, 2019, during your regularly scheduled class time. This is a chance for parents, family and friends to come and observe our classes and see our dancers in action. Please bring your cameras to capture these memories. You'll be amazed at all the improvements each dancer has made since the beginning of the year! Our Visitors Week is also an opportunity to get important details about our annual Spring Concert (recital) so don't miss it!
Our annual Spring Concert (recital) will be held on FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2020. Our performance will be held at the Lazarra Theatre at the UNF Performing Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. We will have a dress rehearsal that morning so please make necessary arrangements to take off work and get child care for other children in your family for that day.
We'll also have a dress rehearsal in the studio prior to recital on SATURDAY, MAY 16, 2020. Please mark your calendars and block out that day for this purpose. Detailed schedules will be released as we get closer to these dates.
Tickets to our Spring Concert will go on sale on May 1, 2020, and are $15. You will receive two free tickets when your account is paid in full through May tuition, as well as all costume and recital fees.
Volunteers are welcome and needed! We invite you to help us throughout our dress rehearsals and performances backstage or maybe even on stage! Please share with us any skills or artistry you could contribute to our show. We love to have family members help building props and adding to your dancer's production in any way.
HLDA typically follows St. Johns County's school calendar of closures for major holidays. Additionally, in the event of serious weather conditions, we will defer to local authorities' recommendations and send out word on the status of our studio by way of e-mail and text alerts (please "opt in" for text alerts on this form).
