The registration fee is $40.00 for the first student. Additional student(s), after the first, will incur a registration fee of $15.00 each. Registration fees and first month's tuition are due at the time of registration. Students cannot be placed on class rolls without payment. These fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. If classes are stopped for any reasons, a new registration fee will be applied to your account. For example, if you attend classes for the fall/spring season, sit out for the summer season, and return for the following fall/spring season, a new registration fee will be charged.
All tuition is due on the 1st of each month of the season, regardless of holiday closures. Tuition will be posted to your portal by the 15th of the month in order to allow you adequate time to pay by cash or check, if that is your preference. All outstanding balances on the 1st of the month will be automatically charged to your payment method on file. If this payment method is declined, please see "auto-withdrawal policy." Accounts must have and maintain a $0 balance no later than June 1st to participate in the Recital.
Any disputes regarding tuition or other charges must be brought to the attention of management in writing within 30 days of the charge in question. Tuition rate is based on a 10 month season and is not altered for months with holidays, etc. The extra lessons received during any five-week month account for the days the school is closed for holidays. No refunds or deductions are given if a student misses class for any reason, except in the case of extreme prolonged illness requiring hospitalization with appropriate documentation.
Paying with Cash or Check:
If you would like to pay by cash or check, it must be done prior to the due date. All payments made by check should be placed in an envelope with the student name written clearly on the outside and placed in the tuition box located in the lobby. All cash payments should be paid directly to the front desk and receive a receipt as proof of payment. There will be a $30.00 charge for all checks returned from your bank and penalty fees will apply. In the event of a check being returned, we will no longer be able to accept personal checks for payment and will require payment to be made via certified funds. Payments should never be left on the desk.

Lakeview Creative Arts will make every effort to be open while considering the safety of our students and staff. There are situations that can occur beyond our control that make remaining open impossible or unsafe. When possible, students will be scheduled for a makeup class within 6 months of the closure date(s).
In the event of adverse weather conditions, such as tropical storms, hurricanes, freezes, snow, etc.... Lakeview Creative Arts will follow the Orleans Parish school closures as a guide for closing and canceling classes. If evacuations are suggested/ordered and remain in effect for a prolonged period of time, or if people are unable to return home due to weather conditions, the studio will remain closed until it is deemed safe to return by local authorities. If we are unable to reopen due to damage to our building, and/or the landlord determines we are unable to reopen for any reason, no refunds will be given for tuition already paid to the studio.
