GENERAL ATTENDANCE: If an absence is unavoidable, students are expected to call the studio at 603-898-9220 and inform the studio of their inability to attend class.
FOR COMPETITION TEAM DANCERS: Attendance is mandatory at all team classes, activities, parades, community performances, competitions, extra rehearsals, workshops, summer classes and picture day. Makeup classes are available, and missed classes should be made up promptly. Excess unexcused absences may result in the student being prohibited from participating in class sessions and/or performances, and could also result in the student being removed from the class.
TEAM REGISTRATION: Competition students are required to register for ALL the classes that comprise their core dance curriculum- Ballet, Ballet technique, Jazz and Tap. Ballet classes are a pre-requisite for every other style of dance, except Tap, HipHop and Acro. Competition students must have clearance from Carlene to drop a core class.
WITHDRAWAL: A written notice of withdrawal is required when a student drops a class. Full tuition for the month the student stops attending the class is required.
TUITION: The student's monthly tuition will be calculated in September when they register for classes. Full monthly tuition is due from September to June, regardless of the student's attendance. If a student has a prolonged absence due to school and/or sports team commitments, their full monthly tuition will still be due. For prolonged absences due to illness/injury, a doctor's note is required, and a doctor's written release is required to return to dance class.
TUITION PAYMENTS: Tuition is due the first week of classes in September, and subsequently on the 1st of each month. Tuition Payments can be made at the desk in Cash , Check or Credit/Debit card. Online Credit Card payments and Recurring Monthly payments can be made using your secure account. If tuition is more than 30 days in arrears, the student will not be allowed to attend classes until the payments are made in full. Tuition payments are non-refundable.
FEES: Costume deposits and balances charges, Competition fees and Late Payment fees are non-refundable. For late payments after the 1st of the month, a $10 Late Fee will apply. The fee for returned checks is $25.

SUMMER SESSION: Summer session is mandatory for all competitive team members. If you are absent from any summer session classes, you must make the classes up in comparable classes in the fall. It is important to improve your technique and this may only be accomplished with hours of instruction. The fee for summer session is part of your student's annual dance education program, and you will be responsible for the charge.
DRESS CODE: Outerwear and Street Clothes- especially shoes and boots- must be left in the waiting room. Students must wear a full leotard for class, tights must be worn under the leotard, with pink tights a requirement in ballet. Comfortable clothing with clean sneakers is acceptable for HipHop class. Students are expected to have appropriate shoes for each class (shoe requirements are posted on the studio bulletin board and online). For safety reasons, dancing in socks or tights is not allowed. Hair must be in a slicked and secured bun for ballet and a ponytail is acceptable for all other classes. If a student does not meet the dress code they may be asked to leave the room and change their attire before returning to class.
CLASS CONDUCT: No food or gum chewing is allowed in class. Students may bring Water Only into the classrooms. Cell phones must be turned off during class, no calls or texts are allowed during class time. In case of emergency, please use the studio line and the receptionist will assist you. Students must wait until the previous class exits before entering the classroom. Please be on time for class. Older students are asked to limit talking in class, and may be excused from the remainder of the class if disruptions persist.
