Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
Swimming, like all athletic activities, involves elements of risk to participants, and can be a challenge for some persons. In consideration of my being allowed to participate in Dolphin University swim lessons program at any host site, the participants and their parent(s)/guardian(s), for themselves and their families, heirs, administrators, estates and executors, voluntarily agree to assume all inherent risks incidental to swimming lessons, and agree that Dolphin University, L.L.C. , its members/owners, employees, agents, sponsors, volunteers, instructors, the owners of the host site(s), and their successors and/or assigns ("DU"), are not liable for, and I/we hereby release Dolphin University, L.L.C. from, any and all claims for costs, damages, death and/or injury to the fullest extent allowed by law resulting from those swimming lesson programs/activities, even if arising from ordinary negligence of Dolphin University, L.L.C.
Medical Emergencies
I certify that the Participant(s) is in good physical health, and has no medical condition(s) that would prevent full participation in the outlined activities and programs. In the event of any medical emergencies, I authorize Dolphin University to take whatever actions it deems necessary (including transport to medical service providers), and I agree to assume fully responsibility for all costs associated therewith.
Pool Space and Facility Policy
Please lower your voices when entering the hotels/fitness centers and pool areas so as not to distract the children in class.
Dolphin University requires the use of Snug fitting reusable, or diapers made specifically for swimming for children 3 and under, while in swim class. Should you forget a diaper, we have them available in the office. Is your swimmer potty trained? Please speak to a staff member for further assistance.
Students with long hair must have it pulled back and secured or are encouraged to wear a cap. Goggles may be worn, although we discourage the use of them while a student is in the process of "learning to be water comfortable."
For the safety of all, NO running is allowed by the pools at any time. Cement, Cool-deck and concrete can all become slippery when wet.
While waiting for your student's class to start we request that they remain with you until their lesson begins. If you bring other children with you that are not participating in the program, they must stay with you at all times.
Please have your child(ren) use the bathroom before class. A parent MUST always escort their child(ren) to the bathroom and we request that they are not left unattended while in there.
All of our students receive a treat every day for a job well done. It's not always easy to be brave when learning new things. Please support and praise your child, for their accomplishments in swim lessons are many.
Registration/Withdrawal/Refund policy
All new families are subject to a $30/per child registration fee. Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable, and we do not offer refunds for used or unused swim lessons.
